Job Description
Essential Duties Summary

Provide payment assistance for present and prospective students

High level of customer service skills, communication skills and the ability to make independent decisions.

Ability to keep detailed records, such as communication with students

Maintain records of interactions with students as necessary and respond to the problems promptly

Ability to work efficiently under frequent and demanding timelines

Discuss with students about their A/R hold and options for payment for payment or extra financial aid.

Assist students with determining what Financial Aid documentation is still needed

Provide excellent customer service through phone, email, and in person in a timely and accurate manner

Serve as liaison between offices campus wide to improve customer services and business productivity

Assist directly or route customers/students to the appropriate personnel for assistance

Ensure customer satisfaction by meeting customer needs in courteous and timely manner

Check the Business Office email and route the emails to the appropriate personnel

Required Qualifications

Associate’s degree required, preferably in Accounting, Business, or related field. Or a minimum of 2 years of equivalent experience in a Business Office setting.

Bookkeeping knowledge is needed.

Microsoft Word and Excel skills required.

Strong customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Jenzabar knowledge preferred.

Physical Demands

Sit at desk for long periods of time.

Work with personal computer, keyboard and mouse for long periods of time.

Standing, reaching and bending to access files.

Walk across campus, ascend and descend stairs to attend meetings.

Lift up to 30 pounds delivering materials, moving boxes of forms, etc.

Indoors 95%
